Chameleon

The Chameleon is a passive mob added by Cold Sweat that serves as a living thermometer and guide.

• Spawn: Tropical biomes (Jungles) and arid biomes (Deserts).
• Behavior: Changes its skin color to match the ambient temperature. It can be tamed by feeding it Spider Eyes or Raw Fish (1 in 3 chance).
• Utility:
• Riding: A tamed Chameleon can be right-clicked to sit on the player's head. It shares the player's damage immunities (except fall damage).
• Shedding: Chameleons naturally shed their skin once per day, dropping Chameleon Molt.
• Navigation: Feeding a tamed Chameleon specific items makes its tail point toward a biome type for 5 minutes:
• Hot Biomes: Dead Bush, Nether Wart, or Cactus.
• Cold Biomes: Snowball, Beetroot, or Sweet Berries.
• Humid Biomes: Slimeball, Ink Sac, or Cocoa Beans.
