How to Craft and Use Neodymium Gear

Neodymium is one of Alex's Caves' advanced metals, and it comes in several variants including Azure Neodymium. It's used for the mod's higher-tier tools, magnets, and machines.

Getting Neodymium

Neodymium is obtained by processing the mod's ores and nodes, such as Azure Neodymium Node and Azure Energized Galena. Mine these from the mod's cave biomes and process them according to the mod's recipes — check JEI or REI for the exact chain, since it involves more than one step. You'll end up with Azure Neodymium Ingots.

What to Build

Neodymium feeds into the mod's magnetic and mechanical content, including the Azure Magnet and related devices. These are used for moving items, pulling entities, and powering the mod's more technical blocks. Build a small workshop near your main base with a crafting table, a furnace or equivalent, and chests for each processing stage. Because the ores come from dangerous biomes, make several trips rather than one big run, and store your ingots in a secure chest so a single death doesn't wipe your progress.
