Silva Pro keeps caves and nighttime areas clear without requiring mods like Night Vision potions. The shader naturally brightens dark areas while maintaining atmosphere. If caves still feel too dark, shader settings can help.
Increase Ambient Light
Open Shader Options and look for ambient lighting or global illumination sliders. Raising these values brightens shadowed areas without affecting daylight. This is the primary tool for improving cave visibility.
Boost Block Light Contribution
Torches, lanterns, and other light sources should spread further. Check for block light range or intensity settings and increase them. This makes torch-lit caves feel more naturally lit.
Adjust Night Sky Brightness
If surface nighttime is too dark, separate sky brightness controls let you brighten the night sky without affecting day. This improves overall visibility during night exploration.
Avoid Overbrightening
Be cautious—excessive ambient light removes atmosphere and can wash out colors. Aim for visibility that still feels like nighttime, just clearer. Test in different cave types and at night to ensure balanced results.
