The Lantern is a block in Minecraft that is crafted from a torch and iron nuggets. It can be waterlogged, so it can hold water while still being placed as a light source. When broken, it drops itself.

Players craft lanterns to use as a decorative alternative to the torch. Because a lantern can be waterlogged, it can be placed in wet spaces, and it can be picked up again after being broken.
