Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything else to use this resource pack?
No, this is a resource pack only—it works with vanilla Minecraft and doesn't require any mods. Just enable it in your resource pack settings and it will replace the concrete textures immediately.
Will this pack work with other resource packs?
Yes, but load order matters. Place Simply Concrete Pack above other packs in your resource pack list if you want its textures to take priority, or below if you want other packs to override it.
Does this affect concrete powder blocks too?
Yes, the pack updates both concrete and concrete powder blocks. Concrete powder gets a softer appearance while maintaining the clean, flat aesthetic.
Can I use this for pixel art?
Absolutely—the flat, solid colors make it much easier to create clean pixel art since each block is a pure, uniform shade with no texture noise to distract from your design.
Why do the vanilla concrete blocks look so rough?
Vanilla concrete has small dots and rough surface details that create visual noise, making it harder to see clean color transitions and making large builds look cluttered. This pack removes those details entirely.
Will this pack slow down my game?
No, resource packs have minimal performance impact. This pack actually uses simpler textures, so it may even improve performance slightly on lower-end systems.
Does this work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use this on any server without the server needing to have it installed.
Can I see all the concrete colors this pack changes?
The pack modifies all 16 standard concrete colors and their corresponding powder variants. Check the screenshots on the wiki to see examples of the clean textures across different colors.
What if I only want to use this pack for certain builds?
You can enable and disable the resource pack anytime from your resource pack menu without restarting the game, so you can switch between it and vanilla textures as needed.
Does this pack change anything besides concrete?
No, it focuses only on concrete and concrete powder blocks to keep things simple and clean. All other blocks remain unchanged.
