Frequently asked questions

How do I make Verity stop following me?
Verity cannot be permanently removed—she is designed to be an inescapable presence throughout your playthrough. You can move away from her temporarily, but she will always find you again. This is intentional to the horror experience.
What happens if I ignore Verity and don't talk to her?
Verity will still observe and comment on your actions whether you engage with her or not. Ignoring her may cause her behavior to become more unpredictable and unsettling as time passes.
Does Verity affect my ability to survive or complete tasks?
Verity does not directly prevent you from gathering resources or building, but her presence and the horror events she triggers can distract you and make survival more challenging psychologically. Core survival mechanics remain unchanged.
