Find a mineshaft as you normally would while mining or caving underground. The mod automatically replaces standard mineshaft generation with its redesigned layouts, so any mineshaft you encounter will have the new structure, loot, and mechanics already built in—no special preparation needed.
What are suspicious blocks and how do I brush them?
Suspicious blocks are special blocks placed throughout mineshafts that contain hidden loot. Equip a brush and right-click on them to slowly reveal the contents without breaking the block, giving you bonus items you wouldn't find in regular chests.
Are TNT minecarts dangerous or can I disable them?
TNT minecarts are intentionally dangerous and will explode if triggered, adding real risk to mineshaft exploration. There is no built-in toggle to disable them, so you'll need to approach them carefully or use mods that allow config changes if you want to remove this mechanic.
