Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the new zombie and skeleton variants?
Each variant spawns naturally in biomes matching its theme: Gelid in cold biomes, Thicket and Verdant in jungles, and Murk in warm oceans. You'll also encounter them in dungeons and trial chambers located in their home biomes, where their spawners can be found.
What's the best way to farm corals?
Hunt Murk skeletons in warm ocean biomes and use shears on them to collect live or dead corals. This is the primary way to obtain corals from this mod's mobs.
How do I cure the poison effect from Thicket and Verdant mobs?
Poison is a status effect like any other in Minecraft—milk will remove it, or you can wait for it to wear off naturally. Prepare by keeping milk buckets in your inventory when exploring jungles where these mobs spawn.
What should I bring to fight a Gelid zombie?
Gelid zombies apply a freezing effect when they hit you, which slows your movement and mining speed. Bring fire resistance potions or warm armor enchantments if available, and keep your distance or use ranged weapons to minimize hits.
Do these new mobs drop anything special?
The mod description doesn't specify unique drops beyond what you'd get from standard mobs, except that Murk skeletons can be sheared for corals. Check your mod's item drops guide for complete loot tables.
Can I find spawners for the new variants in the Nether or End?
No—new mob spawners only appear in dungeons and trial chambers located in their home biomes (cold areas, jungles, and warm oceans). The Nether and End are not affected by this mod.
Do Strays, Husks, and Bogged spawn more often now?
The mod improves how these existing mobs spawn in the world and adds chances to find their spawners in dungeons. This makes them more common in their respective biomes.
Are trial chambers harder because of the new spawners?
Yes—trial chambers may now include trial spawners for all four new mob variants (Gelid, Thicket, Verdant, and Murk), making exploration more challenging. Prepare accordingly with appropriate armor and healing items.
Can I disable specific mob variants if I don't like them?
Check your mod's configuration file or in-game settings menu for options to disable individual variants. Most mods allow per-mob toggling in their config.
Do these mobs work with mob farms or grinders?
The new variants should behave like their base mobs (zombies and skeletons) in farms and grinders, but their special effects (freezing, poison) will still trigger if they hit you. Design your farm with this in mind.
