What do I need to craft first to make a gun?
You need to craft the intermediate parts first, like Metal Tubes and Auto Loader Contraptions, before you can assemble any firearm. Once you have these components, you can combine them in a crafting table to build your chosen gun and its ammunition.
Can I put enchantments on guns?
Yes, you can apply normal bow enchantments like Unbreaking, Mending, Flame, and Punch to your firearms using an anvil. Keep in mind that Flame enchantment will increase durability loss when you fire the weapon.
How do I reduce recoil when shooting?
Hold down your crouch key (default: Shift) while firing to cut your weapon recoil in half, which makes aiming much easier. This mechanic works with all four gun types.
What's the difference between the rifle and auto gun?
The Auto Gun shoots quickly with low damage per shot and holds 20 rounds, while the Rifle fires semi-automatic shots for much higher damage but only holds 6 rounds. Choose the Auto Gun for sustained fire and the Rifle for powerful single shots.
How do I upgrade my gun to Netherite?
Place your firearm in a smithing table along with a Netherite Ingot to upgrade it and increase its stats. This works with any of the four gun types.
Do I need to reload each bullet individually?
The Revolver and Shotgun require you to load each round one at a time, while the Auto Gun and Rifle use magazines that load all their rounds at once. Check your specific weapon type to see its loading mechanic.
Will this mod add new structures or change my world?
No, this mod removes all extra world generation and structures, so your world stays clean and unmodified. You only get the four firearms and their crafting recipes.
Which gun should I use against multiple enemies?
The Auto Gun or Shotgun work best for groups: the Auto Gun for sustained rapid fire and the Shotgun for close-range crowd control with its 5-pellet blast. The Rifle is better for picking off single high-priority targets.
Can I use Mending on my guns?
Yes, Mending is one of the normal bow enchantments you can apply to firearms using an anvil, and it will repair your gun as you gain experience. This is especially useful for keeping your weapons in good condition during long adventures.
What happens if I use Flame enchantment on a gun?
Flame enchantment works on guns and will set targets on fire, but it causes the weapon to lose durability faster than normal. Pair it with Mending if you want to use Flame without constantly repairing your firearm.
