Frequently asked questions
Do water bottles still work on infinite water sources?
No—this mod makes filling a bottle consume the water source block entirely, so traditional infinite water setups (like the 2×2 pattern) no longer work. You'll need to use cauldrons or find another water supply method.
How do I fill bottles without wasting water blocks?
Use cauldrons instead of source blocks. Cauldrons can be filled multiple times before depleting, making them much more efficient for filling water bottles repeatedly.
Can I turn this mod off for specific players or areas?
This mod applies globally to the entire world—there's no built-in way to disable it for certain regions or players. If you need selective control, check your modpack's configuration options or ask the modpack author.
What happens if I fill a bottle from a cauldron?
Cauldrons work differently than source blocks: filling a bottle from a cauldron reduces the cauldron's water level but doesn't consume it entirely, letting you refill it multiple times.
