How do I craft a Scroll Shelf?
Refer to the crafting recipe shown in the mod's screenshots or your recipe book in-game. Once crafted, place it anywhere in your base like you would any other storage block.
Can I store any scroll in the Scroll Shelf or only certain types?
The Scroll Shelf stores spell scrolls from Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks. Any scroll from that mod can be deposited into the shelf for organization.
Why aren't my scrolls organizing by level automatically?
Make sure you're depositing scrolls into the shelf's main storage area, not just placing them nearby. The shelf automatically sorts by spell type and level once scrolls are inside the interface.
How do I upgrade a scroll if I don't have the ink in my inventory?
You must carry the required ink in your inventory before clicking the upgrade button. The upgrade will fail silently if you lack the materials, so double-check your inventory first.
Can I filter scrolls by multiple criteria at once?
You can use the text search bar to find spells by name, or place a sample scroll in the filter slot to show only that spell type. Using both together will narrow results further.
What happens if I place a scroll in the filter slot—does it get consumed?
No, the scroll in the filter slot is only used as a reference and is not consumed. You can swap it out anytime to filter by a different spell.
Can I set a Scroll Shelf to only accept certain spell levels?
The shelf doesn't have automatic acceptance filters, but you can manually organize by scrolling the mouse wheel over spell icons to view and select specific levels before taking scrolls out.
Do multiple Scroll Shelves connect to each other or share storage?
Each Scroll Shelf is independent and has its own separate storage. You'll need to manage multiple shelves as individual units.
Will this mod cause lag if I store hundreds of scrolls?
The Scroll Shelf is designed to be lightweight, but storing extremely large quantities of items in any single block can impact performance depending on your system. Consider spreading scrolls across multiple shelves if you notice slowdowns.
Does the search bar work with partial spell names or only exact matches?
The search bar filters by partial text matching, so typing part of a spell name will show all scrolls containing those letters.
