The whole point of the mod is locating biomes you can't easily stumble across. Here's how to actually use the compass to reach one.

Searching and Selecting

Right-click with the Nature's Compass in hand to open the biome selection screen. You can type a biome name into the search bar or scroll the list. The list is drawn from the biomes registered in your current world, including modded ones, so if another mod adds a biome it will show up here too. Click the biome you want and close the screen.

Reading the Compass

Once a biome is selected, the compass needle points toward the nearest matching biome. A distance value is displayed, usually in blocks, so you can gauge how far you'll be traveling. The needle updates as you move, so keep it in your hand or hotbar while walking. If you cross into another dimension, the compass may lose its target — reselect the biome after arriving.

Practical Tips

Bring food, blocks, and a bed for long journeys. If the distance is huge, consider using a boat, horse, or elytra to cut travel time. When you arrive, the compass will still point at the biome center, so you may need to walk a little further to reach the exact terrain you wanted. Reselect a new biome any time by reopening the interface.
