How to Move Items Between Containers Quickly

The Basic Transfer

Mouse Wheelie speeds up the tedious part of inventory management: shifting items back and forth between two open inventories. With a chest and your player inventory both visible, you can move a whole stack from one side to the other without dragging it slot by slot. Hover the stack and use the mod's transfer action (a click or key, depending on your configuration) to send it across.

Moving Many Stacks at Once

Instead of transferring one stack at a time, you can push or pull everything of a kind. Hover an item and trigger the bulk transfer to move all matching stacks from the source inventory into the destination. This is the fastest way to empty a full chest into your inventory or to deposit a mining haul into storage after a trip.

Working With Multiple Containers

When several inventories are open — for example a chest, a hopper, and your player inventory — the mod moves items between the panel you are pointing at and the panel you are moving toward. Point carefully so the transfer goes the direction you intend.

Tips

• Use bulk transfer after mining or farming to deposit everything quickly.
• Combine with sorting: transfer first, then sort the destination so stacks merge.
• If a transfer seems to go the wrong way, check which inventory your cursor is over before triggering it.
