Scrolling Items

Mouse Wheelie's namesake feature is using the mouse wheel to move items. With a container open, hover over a slot and scroll: the wheel moves items in or out of that slot, letting you shift a stack or a single item without precise dragging. This is handy when you want to move just a few items rather than a full stack.

Scrolling Between Slots

Beyond single slots, the wheel can be used to cycle which slot you are acting on, so you can run along a row of slots and deposit or withdraw items as you go. This turns a repetitive drag-and-drop chore into a smooth scroll motion.

Adjusting the Behavior

Because the mod is client-side and configurable, the exact scroll action — how much moves per notch, and whether scrolling moves items or changes the selected slot — depends on your configuration. If scrolling does something you did not expect, open the mod's config and review the mouse-wheel options, then test in a container.

Tips

  • Scroll slowly at first to learn how many items move per notch.
  • Use scrolling for small, precise transfers and bulk transfer for whole stacks.
  • If the wheel does nothing, confirm a container is open and your cursor is over a slot.
