Planning a Multi-Block Image
A single block face is a small canvas, so large artwork must be split across several adjacent blocks. Decide how many
blocks wide and tall your mural will be, then treat each block face as one tile of the overall picture.
Assembling the Mural
1. Build a flat wall or floor of solid
blocks where the mural will go.
2. Sketch your full image on paper or in an image editor, dividing it into a grid matching your block count.
3. Paint each block face with the
Brush, matching the corresponding tile of your grid.
4. Step back frequently to check alignment between neighboring tiles.
Keep colors consistent across tiles by reusing the same palette choices. For repeating sections, capture a finished tile with the
Stamp and apply it to matching positions. Edges between
blocks can look slightly discontinuous, so design with that in mind, or blend colors near tile borders. Once complete, the individual painted faces read as one continuous image from a distance. If a tile looks wrong, right-click just that face with the
Brush to fix it without disturbing the rest of the mural.
