The Macro/Keybind Mod is a versatile client-side modification for Minecraft that empowers players to automate various in-game actions by binding commands, chat messages, and intricate scripts to their keyboard keys. It provides a user-friendly graphical interface for managing keybinds and macros, eliminating the need for manual configuration file editing. The mod supports a wide range of functionalities, from simple command execution to complex, multi-step automation, and can adapt its configurations based on the server being played on.

Frequently asked questions

How do I open the keybind menu?
Press your SNEAK key + GRAVE (the key below ESC by default) to open the keybind interface. If this doesn't work, check your Controls settings to see what key is bound to open the macro menu.
Can I bind a macro to a key that's already used for something else?
Yes. After binding the macro, you can activate it by pressing your MACRO ACTIVATE key (set in options) followed by the key, or by pressing MACRO OVERRIDE + the key. This lets you use keys like WASD or T for both their normal function and your macros.
How do I make a macro run multiple commands at once?
When entering commands in the keybind menu, separate each command with a pipe character "|" (for example: `/say Hello|/emote dances|/say Goodbye`). All commands will execute when you press the key.
Can I have different macros for different servers?
Yes, the mod automatically detects which server you're on and loads the correct configuration. You can set up separate macro profiles for each server without any manual switching.
