How do I get started with this mod?
Find a Wandering Winemaker and trade for grape seeds or fruit tree saplings, then plant them and wait for them to grow. Once you have fruit, craft an Apple Press and an Aging Barrel to begin making wine.
Where do I find grapes?
Grapes come from the Wandering Winemaker, who trades grape seeds and other winemaking supplies. Plant the seeds on farmland and let them grow on a trellis or similar support.
How do I make wine step by step?
Harvest fruit, put it in the Apple Press to get juice, then place the juice in an Aging Barrel to ferment into wine. Transfer the finished wine into bottles using a Wine Rack or by interacting with the barrel.
Why is my wine not aging?
Wine only ages inside an Aging Barrel or on a Wine Rack, and it needs time to progress through stages. Check the Calendar to see the current aging progress and make sure the barrel or rack is placed correctly.
What does the calendar do?
The Calendar tracks the aging progress of your wines and shows the current in-game day. Use it to know when a batch is ready to bottle or when a vintage has reached its peak.
How do I use the apple press?
Place the Apple Press and put fruit inside it, then interact to press the fruit into juice. The juice can then be transferred to an Aging Barrel for fermentation.
How do I get fruit trees to grow?
Plant fruit tree saplings like the Apple Tree Sapling on dirt or grass and give them space and light to grow. Once mature, they produce fruit you can harvest for pressing and winemaking.
What is the wandering winemaker and what does he sell?
The Wandering Winemaker is a traveling trader mob who sells grape seeds, fruit saplings, and other winemaking supplies. Trade with him using emeralds or the items he requests to get started.
How do wine racks and bottle storage work?
Wine Racks hold individual bottles and let wine continue aging, while Big Bottle Storage blocks hold larger quantities for display or bulk aging. Place bottles in them by interacting with the block while holding a bottle.
Does this mod work with other mods and is it laggy?
Lets Do Vinery is generally compatible with other mods since it adds its own blocks and items without overwriting vanilla ones. Performance is usually fine, but large numbers of aging barrels or wine racks with active aging can add tick load, so keep storage compact.
