What the Math Calculator Is For

The Item Calculator Math is a general-purpose calculator for numbers, not recipes. Use it when you need to work out ratios, stack conversions, or per-craft multipliers that the craft calculator does not cover.

Basic Arithmetic

Right-click to open it and enter expressions directly. It supports standard operations, so you can add, subtract, multiply, and divide. This is handy for figuring out how many items per minute a farm produces or how many crafts fit in a given time.

Stack and Inventory Math

A common use is converting between item counts and stacks. Enter the total number of items and divide by the stack size to see how many full stacks you get, then check the remainder. Do the reverse to find how many items a set number of stacks holds.

Ratios for Crafting

When a recipe produces more than one output, divide the inputs by the output count to get per-item costs. Multiply by your target to scale up. The math calculator keeps these intermediate numbers straight so you do not lose track.

Combining With the Craft Calculator

Use the craft calculator for recipe trees and the math calculator for the surrounding logistics. Together they cover both what to gather and how much throughput you need.
