Teranium Ore spawns on the seabed across most ocean biomes, with higher concentrations in Rocky Ocean and Heat Mushroom Field biomes. Mine it with a stone pickaxe or better.
What's the best underwater armor set?
Crystal Teranium Armor is the full upgrade—it increases swim speed, boosts block reach, and grants random oxygen bursts underwater. Pair it with Water Jet Boots for maximum speed across deep trenches.
Do I need the aqua jet vehicle to explore?
No, the Aqua Jet is optional and speeds up travel across open water, but you can explore all structures and biomes by swimming with proper armor and oxygen gear. Keep a repair station nearby if you do use it.
Which ocean biome is safest for beginners?
Dark Rock Field is the most peaceful—it's made of dark stone boulders with very few hostile mobs, making it ideal for gathering resources and learning the mod before tackling dangerous zones like Void Forest or Forgotten Plateau.
What mobs should I avoid early on?
