You need the appropriate held item or accessory for each gimmick: a Key Stone and Mega Accessory for Mega Evolution, a Tera Orb for Terastallization, a Z Ring for Z-Power, or a Dynamax Band for Dynamax. Admins can distribute these using /genesis give commands, or they may be found in the world depending on server configuration.
Do I need to install anything on my client to use this mod?
No, this mod is server-side only, so you don't need to install it on your client. You can join servers running Cobblemon Genesis Forms with just the base Cobblemon mod installed.
Why isn't my Pokémon Mega Evolving in battle?
Check that you have both a Key Stone and the correct Mega Accessory equipped, and that your Pokémon has a Mega Stone available. For Rayquaza, it must also know the move Dragon Ascent to Mega Evolve.
Can I change my Pokémon's type mid-battle?
Yes, use Terastallization with a Tera Orb during battle to change your Pokémon's type to match a Tera Shard you've equipped. This works for standard Pokémon and special species like Terapagos and Ogerpon.
