Where do I find Specter Cores?
Specter Cores generate inside chests in Jungle Pyramids and Desert Temples. Explore these structures and loot the chests to find your first core.
How do I make a Specter?
Place a Specter Core, copper ingots, and wool on a crafting table to create a Condensed Specter. Right-click while holding it to summon your companion into the world.
Can I change my Specter's color?
Yes, you can dye a Condensed Specter before summoning it, just like you would dye leather armor. Use any dye color you prefer on a crafting table.
How do I rename my Specter?
Use an anvil to rename the Condensed Specter item before you summon it. The name will carry over to your floating companion.
What does my Specter actually do in combat?
Your Specter protects you from fatal damage during fights, heals you rapidly when your health drops below half, and automatically cures poison effects to keep you healthy.
Will my Specter follow me everywhere?
Yes, your Specter hovers near you and follows you around as a loyal floating companion throughout your adventures.

You can summon a new Specter by right-clicking with another Condensed Specter, or craft a new one if you have the materials.
