Frequently asked questions

How do I get charcoal from bamboo?
Place bamboo logs in a furnace or smoker just like you would with oak or spruce logs. They'll smelt into charcoal, giving you a renewable source without needing to burn wood logs.
Why do I get more planks from bamboo than other wood?
This mod makes bamboo wood more useful by letting 1 bamboo log craft into 4 planks instead of 2, balancing it with other wood types in the game and giving you more building material per log.
Can I craft sticks from bamboo planks?
Yes, 2 bamboo planks can be crafted into 2 sticks using the standard crafting recipe, the same as with any other wood type.
What bamboo wood blocks can I build with?
The mod adds bamboo variants of standard wood blocks—logs, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, and other building blocks—so you can build consistently with bamboo throughout your structures.
