Frequently asked questions

How do I craft Terraria armor if I don't know what materials I need?
Open Just Enough Items (JEI) and search for the armor piece you want—it will show the exact recipe including the base armor and Terraria upgrade materials needed at the smithing table.
Can I wear Terraria armor over my regular diamond or netherite gear?
Yes, Terraria armor works great in cosmetic armor slots, allowing you to display the custom looks while keeping your main protection gear active underneath.
What protection level do Terraria armor sets actually give?
Each armor set matches the protection stats of the base materials used in its recipe—endgame sets crafted with Netherite provide Netherite-level protection.
Where do I find the materials to upgrade armor into Terraria sets?
Check the mod's guide on finding and identifying Terraria upgrade materials, or use JEI to see which items are required for your target armor set.
Do I need special mods or tools to craft Terraria armor besides the smithing table?
No—all Terraria armor can be crafted in normal survival mode using only a standard smithing table and the required base armor plus upgrade materials.
What's the difference between the Shroomite helmet variants?
The Shroomite set includes three helmet variations—Ranger, Demo, and Archer—each with different appearances inspired by their Terraria counterparts, though they share the same armor stats.
Can I use Terraria armor in early game or do I have to wait until endgame?
You can craft Terraria armor at any point in survival mode—the protection level depends on what base armor you use, so early-game sets use weaker materials and endgame sets use Netherite.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod uses custom models for visual appeal but is designed to run smoothly in standard Minecraft; performance impact is minimal on most systems.
Do Terraria armor sets work with other cosmetic armor mods?
Yes—since Terraria armor pieces can be equipped in cosmetic slots, they're compatible with cosmetic armor systems and won't conflict with your main protection gear.
Are all the Celestial pillar armor sets included in this mod?
Yes, the mod includes the complete collection of all four endgame Celestial armor sets from Terraria, each craftable at the smithing table.
