How do I know if the data pack is actually working?
Load into a world and explore a Deep Dark biome or area where Abandoned Cities normally spawn—you should see open terrain instead of ruined structures. You can also check your world's datapacks folder to confirm the data pack file is present and enabled.
Will this data pack affect other structures like villages or temples?
No, this data pack only removes Abandoned Cities. All other structures including villages, temples, strongholds, and mansions will generate normally.
Can I use this data pack on an existing world or only new ones?
You can add it to an existing world, but Abandoned Cities that already generated in explored chunks will remain. The data pack only prevents new structures from spawning in ungenerated terrain.
What if I change my mind and want Abandoned Cities back?
Remove the data pack from your world's datapacks folder and reload. Abandoned Cities will generate normally in any new chunks you explore after that.
