The Rail is a block in Minecraft that is crafted from iron ingots and sticks. When broken, it drops itself, so a placed rail can be picked up and used again. It can also be waterlogged.

Players craft rails to lay down tracks for travel. Because the block can hold water, a rail can sit in a waterlogged space without being washed away.
