Glass is a block in Minecraft that comes from smelting. Whatever is put into the furnace to make it, the result is a plain Glass block. When a player breaks it, it drops Glass, so the block can be picked up and placed again elsewhere.

Players use Glass as a crafting material. It is an ingredient in 38 different recipes, which makes it a useful block to keep in the inventory when building and crafting.
