Progression in Environmental Tech is gated by a series of tiered crystals. Except for the first tier (Litherite), these crystals can only be obtained via a Void Ore Miner. Each tier of machine requires the crystals from the previous tier to construct.

Special Materials
- Mica: A translucent material obtained from the Void Resource Miner. It is essential for crafting high-tier modifiers and components in 1.16.5.
- Structure Frames: The skeleton of every multiblock. They must match or exceed the tier of the controller.
- Connectors & Interconnects: Basic crafting components used for machine bases and controllers.
