Using Void Miner CCUs as Placeable Blocks

Place the CCU

Every Void Miner CCU in this mod is a block. After you craft one — Litherite, Erodium, Ionite, Kyronite, Aethium, Nanorite, Pladium, or Xerothium — select it in your hotbar and place it on the ground like any other block. The CCU occupies a block space and stays where you put it.

Plan Around Multiple CCUs

Since there are eight distinct CCU blocks, you can place more than one in your base. A common approach is to dedicate an area to void mining and place the CCU tier you are currently using there. If you later craft a higher tier CCU, place it as a separate block rather than expecting the old one to change.

Keep your CCUs somewhere accessible so you can interact with them. The block itself is the anchor for your void mining setup, and the tier of the CCU you place determines which tier of operation you are running. If you want to run several tiers side by side, craft each CCU individually and place each one in its own spot. There is no shared multiblock requirement described by the registry — each CCU is a standalone block.
