How the status panel works
Aim your crosshair at any mob and a compact panel appears in the corner of your screen. It shows the mob's name and icon, its current and maximum health as exact values, and a segmented health bar so you can judge how close it is to dying. The panel also lists attack damage and armor points, giving you a quick read on how dangerous the mob is before you commit to a fight.
Active potion effects appear as small icons, so you can tell at a glance whether a mob is buffed or weakened. Boss mobs are supported, meaning their information displays the same way rather than being hidden.
Because everything runs on your client, this works on any multiplayer server without installing anything server-side. Nothing needs to be
configured — just look at a mob and the panel appears.
