Can I use this mod on a vanilla server? Yes. Since all effects are visual and handled by your client, you can connect to any vanilla or modded server and see the effects as intended.

Does this mod require any other mods? Effective is a standalone mod, though it is often used alongside API libraries like Cloth Config for its settings menu.

Why don't I see lava splashes? Lava splashes were removed in recent versions of the mod (1.19.2+) to improve performance and resolve rendering bugs. They are only present in older legacy versions.

How do I change the color of the waterfall mist? Place a block of Wool directly under the water source where the waterfall hits the pool. The mist will inherit the color of that Wool block.
