While the mod primarily focuses on the dragons themselves, several items are essential for their management.
| Item | Function | Crafting / Acquisition |
|---|---|---|
| Dragon Egg | The base for all dragons | Defeat the Ender Dragon |
| Saddle | Required to ride adult dragons | Found in chests or via Fishing/Trading |
| Raw Fish | Used for taming and growth | Fishing in any water body |
| Dragon Whistle | Used to command dragons from a distance | Craft with a Stick and a Dragon Scale (if enabled) |
Note: Some versions of the mod allow for the crafting of Dragon Armor to increase the mount's defense, though this is often a feature of specific sub-addons.
