How to Hatch Dragon Eggs in Dragon Mounts Legacy

Pick the right egg for the environment

Each Dragon Egg block hatches only when placed in the biome that matches its element.

• Fire Dragon Egg — hot, dry biomes such as deserts and the Nether.
• Nether Dragon Egg — the Nether.
• Ice Dragon Egg — cold biomes such as snowy tundra and ice spikes.
• Water Dragon Egg — oceans and rivers.
• Forest Dragon Egg — forests and jungles.
• Aether Dragon Egg — high-altitude, sky-like areas.
• Ghost Dragon Egg — dark, enclosed or cave-like spaces.
• End Dragon Egg — the End.

Hatching steps

1. Clear a flat area of the correct biome and remove water or lava that could destroy the egg.

2. Place the Dragon Egg block on solid ground.

3. Stay nearby. The egg needs time and the correct surroundings before it hatches.

4. When it hatches, a baby dragon appears. Feed and raise it from there.

If an egg never hatches, the biome is wrong. Break the block, move it to the matching biome, and place it again. Each egg type corresponds to its own Spawn Egg item, so you can also obtain a dragon directly with the matching Dragon Spawn Egg if you already have one.
