How to Tame and Ride a Dragon in Dragon Mounts Legacy

Raise the hatchling first

A freshly hatched dragon is not tamed. You must feed it and let it grow before it will accept a rider.

1. Hatch the correct Dragon Egg block in its matching biome, or spawn one with the matching Dragon Spawn Egg.

2. Feed the baby dragon regularly so it grows through its stages.

3. Keep it fed until it reaches adulthood. Only adult dragons can be tamed and ridden.

Taming and mounting

Once the dragon is fully grown, approach it and interact to tame it. A tamed dragon follows you and can be ridden.

• Use the interact control on the adult dragon to tame it.
• Once tamed, interact again to mount it.
• While riding, use the movement controls to steer and the jump control to take off and fly.
• Dismount with the standard dismount control.

Each element behaves the same way for taming: Fire, Nether, Ice, Water, Forest, Aether, Ghost, and End dragons all hatch, grow, tame, and fly. The difference is the biome each egg needs and the element of the dragon you get. If a dragon refuses to be tamed, it is still too young — keep feeding it until it is an adult.
