Darker Depths Blocks

Specialized Stone Types

• Darkslate: Found in Molten Caverns. It has 5 "heat stages" (0-4). It becomes heated when adjacent to lava or magma blocks.
• Aridrock: The primary stone of the Sandy Catacombs. It is rotatable and comes in polished and brick variants.
• Duskrock: A dark, easily breakable stone found in the lower layers of the Catacombs.
• Grimestone: Found in Glowshroom Forests; can be used to craft basic tools, furnaces, and brewing stands.

Functional Blocks

• Geyser: Found in Molten Caverns. Periodically bursts, launching entities upward. Powering it with Redstone halts the bursts; unpowering it causes an immediate burst.
• Paranoia Altar: The centerpiece of the Catacombs. While locked, it is indestructible and summons Body Snatchers. Use a Void Soul Requiem to unlock and break it.
• Tomb: Large 3x2 containers found in Catacombs treasure rooms. They contain Forsaken Bronze Scrap.
• Petrified Wood: Non-flammable wood type. Created by placing logs above ignited Soul Soil.
