What Overcharging Does

Overcharged materials are upgraded versions of common metals that carry electrical properties. You will need them for advanced wires, motors, and reactor components. The base materials are Overcharged Iron, Overcharged Gold, and Overcharged Diamond, each with a corresponding sheet and wire form.

Producing Overcharged Metal

Overcharging is done through the mod's electrical processing rather than a normal crafting table. You will need a working power source (see the generator guide) and the appropriate processing block. Feed the base metal — iron, gold, or diamond — into the overcharging process while supplying electrical charge. The result is the Overcharged form of that material.

From there, craft Overcharged Iron Sheet, Overcharged Golden Sheet, and the matching wires. These wires are used in higher-tier recipes and in Overcharged Iron Wire Block, Overcharged Golden Wire Block, and Overcharged Diamond Wire Block for running power over distance with less loss than plain Copper Wire.

Practical Tips

  • Keep a dedicated overcharging station near your generator so you are not hauling materials across the base.
  • Overcharged Diamond is the most demanding of the three — save it for reactor-tier builds.
  • Store finished Overcharged items separately from raw metals to avoid mixing them up in autocrafting.
