Getting Electrum
Electrum is an alloy of Gold and Silver — but note that base Create does not add Silver, so in most packs you will need another mod that provides it, or the recipe may use an alternative. Mix the metals in a Create Mixer (heated) or via the mod's own crafting path. The result is 
Electrum Ingot, which can be crafted into 
Electrum Nugget, 
Electrum Rod, 
Electrum Sheet, and 
Electrum Block using standard Create processing (pressing, cutting, compacting).
What Electrum Is For
Electrum is the conductive backbone of the mod's electrical tier:
Electrum Wire and 
Electrum Spool carry power with better efficiency than copper.- Electrum Rod feeds into higher-tier components.
- Electrum Block is a storage/decorative form.
Workflow
1. Gather Gold and your pack's Silver source.
2. Alloy them into Electrum Ingots.
3. Press Ingots into Sheets, cut into Rods, or draw into Wire.
4. Wind Wire onto an 
Empty Spool to make an Electrum Spool for longer runs.
Upgrade your copper wiring to electrum once you have steady gold and silver income — it pays off on long-distance power lines.
