Opening the Party Screen

Once you have caught more than one Pokémon, you need to manage them. Open your party interface (bound to a key in the controls menu) to see the Pokémon currently traveling with you. The party holds a limited number of creatures, so you will frequently swap members in and out. From this screen you can view each Pokémon's level, typing, moves, and health.

Swapping and Storing

When your party is full and you catch another Pokémon, the new catch is sent to your PC storage box instead. Access the PC from any interface that supports it to move Pokémon between your party and the box. Drag creatures in and out to build a balanced team covering multiple types. You can also release Pokémon you no longer want, which frees up space. Keep at least one Pokémon with a healing move or a high-defense wall for tougher battles. Remember that only party members gain experience from battles, so rotate your team if you want everyone to level up evenly.
