Snails are passive, shy creatures found in Maple Forests and Pumpkin Fields. They are the primary source of Snail Slime and Shell Pieces.

Behavior:

Shyness: Snails will retreat into their shells if a player approaches without sneaking or if they take damage
Slime Trails: When fed mushrooms or fungi, snails produce a trail of snail slime on the ground which can be harvested
Growth: When a baby snail grows into an adult, it sheds a Snail Shell Piece
Easter Eggs: Naming a snail 'nautilus' or 'snake' with a name tag will change its model and texture

Turkeys are large birds that inhabit Maple Forests and Pumpkin Fields. While generally passive, they are more defensive than chickens.

Behavior:

Retaliation: Unlike chickens, turkeys will attack the player back if they are struck
Egg Laying: Turkeys lay Turkey Eggs, which can be thrown to spawn baby turkeys
