How to Breed Turkeys and Collect Turkey Eggs

Getting Started with Turkeys

Spawn Turkeys using the Turkey Spawn Egg, or find them in the world. Turkeys drop Raw Turkey and Raw Turkey Piece when killed. Cook Raw Turkey on a furnace, campfire, or smoker to get Cooked Turkey, and cook Raw Turkey Piece the same way to get Cooked Turkey Piece.

Breeding and Eggs

Feed two Turkeys to breed them. Bred Turkeys produce Turkey Egg. Collect Turkey Eggs and place them into a Crate of Turkey Eggs for storage or decoration. Turkey Eggs can also be used to hatch more Turkeys.

Cooking the Results

Raw Turkey and Raw Turkey Piece are the base foods. Smelt, campfire-cook, or smoke them to produce Cooked Turkey and Cooked Turkey Piece. Cooked Turkey is a full meal; Cooked Turkey Piece is the smaller portion. Keep a Crate of Turkey Eggs near your coop so you always have eggs ready to hatch or store.
