How to Craft and Light Every Jack o'Lantern Variant

The Jack o'Lantern Family

There are five lit jack o'lantern blocks: Cupric Jack o'Lantern, Ender Jack o'Lantern, Redstone Jack o'Lantern, Soul Jack o'Lantern, and the standard Jack o'Lantern. Each one is a light source with a different look.

Large Slices

Each jack o'lantern also has a large slice version used for decoration:

• Large Cupric Jack o'Lantern Slice
• Large Ender Jack o'Lantern Slice
• Large Jack o'Lantern Slice
• Large Redstone Jack o'Lantern Slice
• Large Soul Jack o'Lantern Slice

Large Pumpkin Slice is the base slice block. Use it as the starting point when cutting the large jack o'lantern slices.

Crafting Steps

1. Gather pumpkins and carve them into the jack o'lantern variants you want.

2. For the special variants, combine the carved pumpkin with the matching material to get Cupric, Ender, Redstone, or Soul Jack o'Lantern.

3. Use stonecutting on the jack o'lantern or on Large Pumpkin Slice to produce the matching Large Slice.

Place the lit jack o'lanterns as light sources around a maple build. Pair them with Maple Fence, Maple Stairs, or Pile of Maple Leaves for a seasonal look. The slices work well as floor or wall accents next to Snail Shell Bricks or Maple Boards.
