Finding and Using the New Villages

Overhauled Villages replaces the vanilla village generation with larger, more detailed settlements. To see the changes, simply explore your world and look for villages in any biome. Each biome has its own building style, so a desert village will look different from a taiga or jungle one.

When you arrive, you will notice multi-story houses, decorated rooms, central plazas, gardens, wells, and street lamps. Despite the new look, all vanilla villager jobs and workstations remain intact. You can still build a trading hall, place job blocks, and trade with villagers as usual.

Pillager outposts are also restyled to match the surrounding biome, so they blend into the new architecture. No special items or commands are needed to access these structures. Just load the mod and generate or explore your world.
