  3. Customize Your Preference
  4. Apply and Save

Access the Shader Settings

Open your shader options menu while in-game. Press the key bound to open Optifine or Iris settings (usually found in Video Settings), then locate Shaders and select Shader Options.

Find Lighting Controls

Look for sliders related to shadow intensity, brightness, or lighting adjustments. The Helian MMCO Sundial Lite Edit adds dedicated controls for these values beyond the base Sundial Lite pack.

Customize Your Preference

Adjust the shadow and lighting sliders to your preference. If you want brighter daytime scenes, increase brightness values. To deepen shadows and add more contrast, reduce shadow intensity. Test changes in different times of day and weather conditions to see how they affect your world.

Apply and Save

Once satisfied, close the settings menu. Your changes apply immediately. Settings persist across sessions, so you won't need to reconfigure them each time you play.
