Frequently asked questions

Do I need any other mods besides Cobblemon for this resource pack to work?
Yes, you need Cobblemon installed as the base mod. This resource pack only adds models and textures for creatures that Cobblemon provides, so it won't function without it.
Why aren't the new creatures spawning in my world?
Make sure you're looking in the correct biomes at the right time of day—most creatures only spawn during daytime, and each family prefers specific biome types like plains, forests, or magical biomes. If you've already explored an area before installing the pack, you may need to travel to new chunks where creatures can spawn.
Can I find these creatures at night?
Most of the added creatures spawn only during daytime hours. The Gothita family is the exception, appearing in dark forest biomes regardless of time of day.
What's the difference between regular forests and dark forests for spawning?
Sewaddle spawns in regular forest biomes during the day, while Gothita appears specifically in dark forest biomes. Dark forests are denser, shadier variants with thicker tree coverage.
