Frequently asked questions
How do I get the Notch Totem to appear in my inventory?
The Notch Totem is a resource pack that reskins the vanilla Totem of Undying, so you need to obtain a regular Totem of Undying first—either from Evoker drops in Woodland Mansions or creative mode. Once you have one, the resource pack automatically changes its appearance to Notch.
Do I need a mod or is this just a resource pack?
This is a resource pack only, so you don't need to install any mods. Just load it like any other resource pack in your world or server, and it will reskin your totems immediately.
Why isn't my totem showing as Notch?
Make sure the resource pack is enabled and ranked above any conflicting packs in your resource pack list. If you're on a server, check that the server allows client-side resource packs.
Does the Notch Totem work differently than a normal totem?
No, it functions identically to the vanilla Totem of Undying—it still saves you from fatal damage and triggers the same protection effect. The resource pack only changes how it looks and the animation you see when it activates.
