The default interface can feel cramped on a large monitor or unreadable on a laptop panel. Better GUI gives you a few levers to make its crafting and inventory screens comfortable at any resolution.
Tune the Vanilla GUI Scale First
Before changing anything in the pack, adjust the GUI scale in vanilla video settings. A larger scale makes every slot and button bigger; a smaller scale fits more on screen. Better GUI's layouts are drawn relative to this scale, so getting it right first prevents most readability complaints.
Use the Pack's Own Adjustments
In the configuration screen, increase button size and spacing if you keep misclicking, and enable slot highlighting so the hovered slot stands out clearly. If the background is washing out the item icons, raise the dimming so the world behind the GUI recedes.
Pick a Style That Fits
Compact styles are the better choice on small laptop displays where vertical space is tight, while the roomier layouts read better on large monitors viewed from a distance. Combine a suitable style with a sensible GUI scale, and the interface should stay legible whether you are on a phone-sized window or a widescreen desktop.
