Manual Portal Linking
By default, portals automatically connect to worlds with matching names. If you need a portal to lead somewhere different, you can manually link it.
Steps
1. Build your Nether portal in the normal way using obsidian blocks
2. Light it with flint and steel
3. Use the plugin's linking command to specify which world this portal should connect to
4. Enter the portal to confirm it takes you to the correct destination
Why Manual Link?
Manual linking is useful when:
- Your world names don't follow the standard naming convention
- You want multiple portals in the same world leading to different dimensions
- You're setting up custom world connections that don't match automatically
Once linked, the portal will consistently take players to your chosen world every time they use it, preventing the common server problem of portals sending players to the wrong dimension.
