Setting Up a New Rank

Ranks organize players into groups with shared permissions. Use the web editor for a visual approach or commands for quick setup.

Via Web Editor:

1. Open the web editor in your browser

2. Navigate to the Groups or Ranks section

3. Click "Create Group" and name your rank (e.g., "Moderator", "Builder")

4. Save the new rank

Via Console Commands:

Type commands directly into your server console to create ranks instantly without reloading.

Assigning Players to Ranks

1. Identify the player's username

2. In the web editor, find the player in the Users section

3. Select the rank you want to assign from the dropdown menu

4. Confirm and save

Alternatively, use console commands to assign a player to a rank in one step.

Checking Rank Assignment

Verify the player has the correct rank by:

  • Checking the web editor's user list
  • Having the player rejoin the server to load their new permissions
  • Testing whether they can perform rank-specific actions in-game

Ranks take effect immediately, though some players may need to rejoin to see changes reflected in their in-game experience.
