How do I find a Trial Catacombs dungeon?
Use the command /locate structure remains_cave:dungeon to pinpoint the nearest dungeon, or explore the surface to find the entrance structure. Once located, descend into the dungeon to begin your trial.
What's the best way to fight skeleton squads?
Focus on separating the Skeleton Warrior (tank) from the Archer and Warlock, since they coordinate as a unit. Watch for attack wind-up animations to dodge or interrupt incoming strikes before they land.
Why can't I break dungeon blocks?
Dungeon blocks are protected until you defeat the Skeleton King boss in the throne room. Once the boss is defeated, you'll unlock the reward vault and regain the ability to break blocks.
Should I set my spawn point before fighting the boss?
Yes—set your spawn at the Node Room before entering the boss arena so you don't lose progress if you die. The boss arena and trial rooms prevent item loss on death, but respawning at the Node Room keeps you in the dungeon.
What do I do with monster trophies?
Bring collected trophies to the three-altar trial chamber located in the side rooms to activate optional timed combat challenges. Completing these waves earns additional rewards beyond the main boss loot.
How do I unlock shortcuts through the dungeon?
Shortcut gates unlock as you clear rooms and defeat skeleton squads along the main path. One-way paths and locked doors ensure progression, but opened shortcuts let you backtrack or skip already-cleared sections.
What gear does the Skeleton King drop?
The Skeleton King drops unique combat equipment including the Crimson Bond greatsword, Bone Crown, and Doom Hood. These items are exclusive boss rewards found in the reward vault after defeating him.
Does the Skeleton King have multiple phases?
Yes—the Skeleton King summons minions, performs dash slash attacks, and enrages with increased aggression when his health drops below half. Watch for his attack animations to dodge his most dangerous moves.
Can I skip rooms or take a different path through the dungeon?
The dungeon features randomized room layouts with a structured main path, but you cannot skip the boss room itself. Unlocked shortcuts allow you to revisit areas, but you must progress through the randomized rooms to reach the throne room.
What's the difference between the three skeleton types?
Skeleton Warriors tank damage and protect allies, Skeleton Archers attack from range and maintain distance, and Skeleton Warlocks summon runes that heal allies or harm you. They work together tactically, so splitting them up gives you an advantage.
