TFC Mantle Mountains Mod expands mountain sizes in TerraFirmaCraft to make natural terrain taller and wider. This mod scales up existing mountain biomes without increasing their spawn count across the world. It raises the maximum world height to 1024 blocks so massive peaks have enough room to rise.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find mountains after installing this mod?
Use the command /locate biome tfc:mountains to instantly travel to the nearest mountain biome in your world. Mountains will spawn naturally as you explore, but this command is the fastest way to see the mod's effects.
What's the difference between vertical and horizontal scale?
Vertical scale controls how tall your mountain peaks reach into the sky, while horizontal scale controls how wide the mountain slopes spread across the landscape. Increasing vertical scale makes peaks taller; increasing horizontal scale makes mountains broader and gentler.
Why are my mountain peaks getting cut off at the top?
Your vertical scale setting is too high and the terrain is clipping into the world height limit. Lower your vertical scale value below 6.0, or reduce it further if peaks are still being cut off at 1024 blocks.
Can I have snow on mountains in warm climates?
Yes—enable the snow-capped peaks setting in the config file to force snow generation on all mountain summits regardless of the local climate. This setting is disabled by default.
