Place a bed in the Overworld and sleep in it. You'll wake up in the first liminal dream dimension instead of your spawn point, and the mod will begin.

You can only progress forward through the dream dimensions by finding the exit to each sequence. Attempting to sleep again will advance you to the next dimension rather than returning home.
